ThermTec comes with a new thermal imaging sight in the shape of a riflescope ARES 660, which is the first thermal imaging riflescope with variable optical magnification! It has a 640x512px resolution core with a sensitivity of <35mk (at 25°C), a 1024×768px AMOLED display and a high quality 60mm focal length germanium lens . These parameters ensure beautifully clear images in harsh environmental conditions such as darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow and forest cover. The traditional tube design with a 60mm lens meets the needs of professional hunters who value tradition and seek technological superiority with an extreme detection range of up to 3000 meters. A wide range of settings allows you to fully customize the image to perfectly meet your requirements. All of this supports your perfect target engagement when hunting or protecting property.
The Ares features unique shutterless technology that eliminates the annoying periodic image jams typical of thermal imaging, providing a smooth image without distracting choppiness that could compromise a precise shot.
Variable optical magnification is what makes this thermal imaging rifle scope stand out. Thanks to this, it has two fields of view that perfectly meet the requirements of hunting at both shorter and longer distances. Of course, the Ares is also equipped with a continuous digital zoom up to 6x and a feature that ensures the cross always stays in the center of the screen, even if it needs to be moved off-center to shoot. The actual shooting is done manually with the help of the Freeze function, which freezes the image and allows you to conveniently adjust the position of the crosshairs, or automatically, when the Ares itself changes the position of the crosshairs according to the heat trace of the bullet impact.
Ares is equipped with an AI rangefinder that uses artificial intelligence to automatically measure the distance of objects after it detects them. Thanks to advanced technology, it can measure the distance of several targets simultaneously.
Another feature is the ability to record video and take high quality photos and view them instantly directly on the device or on your phone by connecting to the Smart Thermal app. Ares can also start recording automatically after it detects a shot thanks to the built-in microphone.
