The photo trap is easily controlled close to the device using the TrailCam Go app, which makes it easy to set up and manage the device directly from your mobile phone. The app gives you full control over the functions of the photo trap, whether you want to change theresolution of the photos and videos you take, the frequency at which they are taken, or just view the footage.
Photos are at a maximum resolution of up to 48 megapixels and videos are in Full HD quality with audio recording. Recordings are also stored on SD card (not included) with a maximum capacity of 128 GB.
PIR sensor has a field of view of an incredible 90 degrees, detection up to 20 meters and 18 LEDs with a wavelength of 850 nm. With a shutter speed of 0.2-0.6 s, it provides detailed images across the entire field of view.
The operation of the photo trap is taken care of by a built-in 2000 mAh battery, which is powered by an attached solar panel. Without the solar panel, the battery life is up to 5 months depending on the shooting mode set. The photo trap can also be connected using a USB-C cable to download footage or charge the device.
For maintenance-free operation, the photo trap is also IP66 rated and can operate in temperatures from -20 to +60°C. The photo trap can be mounted with a clamping strap or it can be positioned using a tripod thread.
We provide a 2-year warranty on the equipment and a guarantee to lend a spare device in the event of a need for service.
